Hi everyone,
Stocks finished last week higher (S&P 500 ~7,743) even with the 10-year yield around 5.17%.
This week is a data gauntlet: August PCE (Wed) and September Non-farm payrolls on Friday, (8:30am) - consensus +90k to +100k (vs +162k in Aug), unemployment 4.1%.
Plus we have a pile of Fed speakers. Consensus leans “labor still okay, inflation still sticky” — which keeps the hawkish bias intact.
RBA (Reserve Bank of Australia) is expected to hike Tuesday.
Quick Watchlist
MU (Wed AMC) — memory/AI proxy.
NKE (Thu AMC) — consumer read.
CCL / KMX (Tue) — travel and used-car demand.
Rates, USD, and oil if data surprises. Crypto will trade the same macro (jobs + PCE).
There’re some very good looking setups out there, including the indexes. Let’s check them out and chart SPX levels for tomorrow.
